Underwater Remote Operated Vehicle
Tom Glebas, vice president of VideoRay, provides training to members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District on the VideoRay PRO 5, an underwater remote operated vehicle (ROV), at a lock and dam facility on the Allegheny River in Natrona, Pennsylvania, Sept. 22, 2021. This ROV model is new to the Pittsburgh District, equipped with a high-definition video and photo camera, a multibeam sonar, a claw that can rotate and grab objects, and a motor that is twice as powerful as the previous version to pilot through stronger currents.
