The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District hosted Industry Engagement Day to inform contractors about a multi-year construction project at the facility in Monaca, Pennsylvania. The project will include replacing the facility’s 360-foot auxiliary chamber with a wider and longer 600-foot chamber that can fit up to nine barges at once. Industry day offered contracting representatives from multiple companies an opportunity to clearly understand the project prior to it being advertised.
