Crooked Creek Lake and Reservoir
A library is open to the public near the ranger station at Crooked Creek Lake in Ford City, Pennsylvania. Visitors are encouraged to leave a book for others to use or take a book to read for themselves. Crooked Creek Lake is owned and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District to provide flood protection for the lower Allegheny and Ohio rivers. The facility offers year-round recreation opportunities such as boating, fishing, ice fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, swimming, metal detecting, picnicking and disc golf.
