WHO: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District
WHAT: Annual Corps of Engineers and River Recreational Users Summit Annual Meeting. CERRUS is a working group organized to review the operation of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Integrated Inland Navigation System within the Pittsburgh District and how that operation interfaces with the needs of recreational users and associated interests.

WHY: CERRUS is comprised of navigation operations specialists from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District and river recreational interests including boating enthusiasts; related recreational, public and governmental entities; private facility owners, and commercial entities associated with said interests. It is our goal through CERRUS to leverage the resources of the region to best facilitate the needs of our customers. The group exists to facilitate communications on areas of common interest and to exchange and disseminate information. Through these discussions, we hope to achieve the goal of providing the best service to all the users of the Inland Navigation System.
