SALTSBURG, Pennsylvania – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District and the Tunnelton Volunteer Fire Department will be cohosting an outdoor festival at Conemaugh dam on Saturday, June 22.
Who: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District, local community organizations and first responders.
What: Conemaugh Dam and the Tunnelton VFD are cohosting a free event promoting outdoor safety and highlighting local community organizations. The festival will include dam tours, children’s activities, safety demonstrations, and a free lunch. A variety of agencies will provide booths for attendees to talk to.

When: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019.
Why: The Army Corps and local community organizations seek to promote outdoor safety, raise awareness about the reservoir, and instruct the community on a variety of safety topics.
