PITTSBURGH — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Loyalhanna Lake will be holding the pool elevation lower than the typical summer level.

Beginning June 20, 2016 the Loyalhanna Lake pool will be maintained at an approximately elevation of 922 feet due to construction activities at the Bush Recreation Area. The lake level will remain at this level for at least three weeks.

Since this pool elevation is about one foot below our normal summer pool, we ask that boaters remain cautious and alert for possible submerged hazards and sedimentation.

The camping and day-use areas will remain open at this time. For more information, contact the park office at 724-639-9013.
