Come celebrate 50 years of the Michael J. Kirwan Dam and reservoir bringing value to the region. This event will include presentations, speeches from legislators and children of Rep. Kirwan, games, tours of the facility, a ceremonial 50th Anniversary tree planting, and more.

WHO: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District, Michael J Kirwan Dam hosts the general public.

WHAT: Come celebrate 50 years of the Michael J. Kirwan Dam and reservoir bringing value to the region. This event will include presentations, speeches from legislators and children of Rep. Kirwan, games, tours of the facility, a ceremonial 50th Anniversary tree planting, and more.    

WHERE: Visitors Center, Michael J. Kirwan Dam, 5767 Wayland Road, Wayland, OH, 44285 

WHEN: 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Oct. 1

WHY: In celebration of 50 years in existence, Michael J Kirwan Dam and Reservoir is taking time to have a celebration of the past, present, and future.

PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS: Buckeye Trail Association, Edinburg Cub and Boy Scouts, Ohio Division of Watercraft, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, U.S. Army National Guard, West Branch State Park
