  • Corps to host virtual public scoping meeting on Shenango River Lake master plan revision

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District is hosting a virtual public meeting to kick off the Shenango River Lake master plan revision. The corps is seeking public input about environmental and recreational topics to consider while revising the master plan, which will guide the use of the lake’s natural resources for the next 25 years.

  • Corps to host Shallow Land Disposal Area Virtual Public Information Session

    Pittsburgh and Buffalo districts’ staff will present an update to the public on the project’s status, results of the annual environmental monitoring, upcoming site activities and other topics of public interest for the Shallow Land Disposal Area site, Dec. 9. The information session will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District is conducting a feasibility study on the Tar Pamlico River Basin and will host a series of virtual public involvement meetings to gather community input on the feasibility study. The meetings are organized by geographic region and held from March 22 to 31.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is hosting a virtual meeting about the Tygart Lake Master and Shoreline Management Plans updates. The corps is seeking public feedback on the proposed changes to the management of the lake based on public input collected in August 2018.

  • UPDATE: Corps to Host Virtual Meeting on General Motors Permit

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District will no longer host the previously-scheduled public meeting about the General Motors permit application to construct a mass-production battery-manufacturing plant in Lordstown, Ohio. Instead, the district will host a virtual meeting to collect community input about the permit application.
