Corps of Engineers to temporarily close road at Tygart Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District will temporarily close Paul E. Malone Road at Tygart Lake to perform road repairs beginning March 29. Repairs will be made to the half-mile of the road owned by the corps and will last three months.

Corps Signs Partnership Agreement for Storm Sewer Repair Construction

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District has entered into a more than $200,000 project-partnership agreement with the city of McKeesport to complete storm sewer-system repairs at several locations within the city.

Allegheny River lock chamber closure to cause delays

Army Corps contract buys time at deteriorating Ohio River lock

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District awarded a $1.09-million contract recently to C. J. Mahan Construction Company, LLC of Columbus, Ohio to install a temporary repair to the severely cracked and unstable middle-lock wall at the Ohio River’s Montgomery Lock and Dam near Monaca, Pennsylvania.
