Progress Update

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District is revising the Crooked Creek Lake Master Plan. The Master Plan guides the use of government-owned and leased lands around the lake.

Update (as of November 2, 2020): With your help, we have completed our scoping phase and have prepared a draft updated Master Plan and Environmental Assessment (EA), which are now ready for public review.

Review the documents posted to the website to see what changes we are recommending for Crooked Creek Lake. You're invited to submit your comment on those documents during the public comment period, starting on November 4 and ending December, 2020.

November 2020 Plan Drafts & Public Review

You're invited to submit a public comment on the November 2020 drafts of the revised Master Plan on or before December 4, 2020.

To learn about what changes we are recommending for the future of Crooked Creek Lake, you can review the documents in the "Review Relevant Documents" section of the website. You will find both the original Master Plan as well as the proposed updated version and its associated Environmental Assessment available for review. Drafts of the proposed plan are also available to view at the Crooked Creek Lake Resource Manager’s Office located at 114 Park Main Road, Ford City, PA 16226-8815, and at the Ford City Library located at 1136 4th Avenue, Ford City, PA 16226. Library hours of operation are Tuesday-Thursday, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM (as of November 2, 2020).
